For a decade of my life, food preoccupied my mind from morning to night.

Thoughts of how my body didn’t measure up plagued my mind, and eating obsessed me.

These were dark days. I felt constantly embarrassed by my body and my relationship with food. Gripped by shame, I didn’t want anyone else to know, so I suffered alone.

I preferred to stay home in hiding, than risk being out in the world, and potentially judged for how I looked, or how I was eating.

Fortunately, my deeper sense that hating my body was no way to live, lead me to seek out the teachers that helped me liberate myself from this misery, and finally find peace with food, and learn how to love my female body without shame.
