My Slimming Secret Weapons — Jena Goes Grocery Shopping

One of the tricks of pleasurable weight loss is doing some of the same things you may have before done in a punishing, painful, pleasureless way, and instead, by using your curiosity, creativity, and feminine wiles, discovering for yourself, how some variation of that same act can be made, in fact, pleasurable!

For example some women find grocery shopping a real bore, so to demonstrate this principle in action, I spruced up my last visit to the grocery store by with a foolproof strategy–the bring along a girl-friend technique!

It was a win-win, because my friend Susan has just moved locally, from San Fran, and she wanted me to show her around our neighborhood.

Sooooo…. a potentially hum-drum grocery shopping trip became a “good time,” and as part of the fun, we made an exposé video on what’s in my shopping cart.

I of course invite you to leave a comment with any *secret weapons* of slimming you’ve discovered and would like to share, or any strategies you’ve tested, for making the previously mundane, surprisingly pleasurable after all.

Thanks for reading and watching.

Love,
xo Jena

P.S. If you’ve had your eye on the possibility of joining the virtual Weight Loss Pleasure Camp that is launching right now, there’s only one more day, to be part of the community and this training program in the feminine strategies for weight loss, co-taught by psychology of eating guru Marc David and partake of all the bonuses, as it all goes away tomorrow, Thursday July 14, at midnight PST. 1. Great video Jena! I am inspired by and love all the greens…I have been drinking green smoothies and just started juicing again…I love the idea of “adding in” rather than restricting….great mantra!

  2. Hi Thea, Angela and Erna.
Glad you’re inspired, and no, you can’t live only on greens, I just showed the vegetable part of my shopping trip as that’s where many women need the most inspiration, but I buy other things too of course. xo Jena
