Sisterhood & other little known slimming secrets

Ever heard the expression, “you can’t solve a problem on the level it’s occurring?”

Counter-intuitive though it may sound, charging directly for your goals isn’t always the most effective way to get what you want.

An oblique or side-ways approach often works much better.

For example, corporations that have “making money” as their top priority will often make *less* money than competing companies that emphasize innovation or customer service as their top goals instead. Pretty amazing…

The same thing applies to changing your body.

Striving for the perfect digits on your weighing scales — or the perfect number of calories on your plate — can have the dangerous side-effect of distracting you from what’s really important for slimming down.

This week’s video blog is here to get you back to 3 fundamental slimming secrets that will create the conditions from which a slimmer you will naturally emerge.

If you’ve ever eaten because you’re lonely, or scarfed down a cake without *really* taking your pleasure from it, or if you experience an almost ever-aching hunger that won’t leave your body no matter what you do, this video training is a must.

Plus you’ll get to meet my good friend Tonya Leigh, creator of “French Kissing Life,” a true pleasure in an of itself.

If your thoughts are provoked, please leave me a comment below with your feedback, and share this with your community.

As always, thanks for reading, watching, and commenting.

With love and support,
Jena

  1. I totally get this idea! Being a celiac and having food limitations has led me to explore other ways to enjoy food, even without consuming it! My friends and colleagues humor me by letting me SMELL their food whenever I ask. And I’m pretty sure I have some sort of erotic relationship with my love of choxolate. ; )

  2. Thanks, Dani, Lisa & Lisa.
By the way I do the same thing enjoying the smell & the visuals of glutenous food I won’t necessarily eat. Genius! xo Jena

  3. Gorgeous tips for the heart!

Couterie imparts an overwhelming feeling of WANT! Oh how I long for the closeness of my own sisters.

Thank you for the sweet reminders!
