Turmeric Tea
Feel free to adapt this so that it has the right taste for you. This
tea has many health benefits. It is the favorite drink of the
healthiest people in the world, the people of Okinawa, Japan!
4 Cups of Water
1 teaspoon of ground turmeric
Honey to taste
Lemon to taste
1 tsp. ginger (optional)
1. Bring four cups of water to a boil.
2. Add turmeric reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Strain the tea through a fine sieve into a cup, add honey and/or
lemon to taste.
4. Add a teaspoon of ginger for added health benefits.
Turmeric: It is known to prevent Alzheimer’s Disease as well as fight
cancer and prevent arthritis.
